Sudden Anatomy, spray paint and acrylic paint on paper (an edition of two), 1980.
The first edition was exhibited in Club 57’s Invitational and Xerox Art Show, curated by Keith Haring in 1980. It was wheatpasted directly to the wall of the club. In 2018 the second edition was exhibited at MoMA’s Club 57: Film, Performance, and Art in the East Village, 1978-1983, and is now in the museum’s permanent collection.
